Prima Lingua are proud to be one of a few translation companies within the UK who are accredited to the British Standard Institute’s (BSI) ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems standard. ISO 9001 is by far the world’s most established quality framework, currently being used by over ¾ million organizations in 161 countries (source: BSI 2009).

The system we implement provides a business framework which allows us to monitor current performance and also enables us to drive forward with continual improvement in all aspects of the company.

So, what does ISO 9001 mean in terms of your translation? The standard allows us to better understand the processes required for delivering our service to clients – from the initial enquiry, to assigning the correct translator to a project, right through to delivery of the completed translation. These processes are thoroughly monitored, measured and then improved when and where necessary.

It is the policy of Prima Lingua to understand our customer’s needs and to deliver a level of service and quality that exceeds these expectations. In order to succeed we regularly examine our performance in terms of a number of key performance indicators (KPI’s). These KPI’s include; customer satisfaction, delivery targets and customer cost savings.
